Announcing a New Segment “300 at 30,” and Should it Be Visual or Podcast?

By | May 31, 2016

I’ve been managing this site for a little more than five years, and mostly things have stayed pretty much the same. This year has seen the addition of the first new things we’ve done since the beginning: podcasts (“A Year Long Conversation”) and YouTube videos.

And now it’s time for one more: a new segment called “300 at 30” which will help people with weight loss mostly and even big transitions in their lives. The only problem is that I can’t figure out if it should be visual–which may hold me more accountable to actually show results–or audio so people can listen to it anywhere, like doing other things such as running, walking, or slowly rolling over on their bed to burn 0.001 calories. Maybe people can persuade me one way or the other…

Anyway, look out for it (hopefully) next week. Although it’s not possible to do something completely uncynical on this site, I do think it might actually help people… [Like myself beginning the year at 300 pounds and losing 70 pounds in less than 4 months.]
