Charlie Sheen is fired for being a crazy egomaniac with delusions of grandeur…Faux News officially offers him a job.
The Adjustment Bureau rides early lead in my “Best Film of 2011” estimation, narrowly beating Big Momma’s House 3 and any movie starring Nicolas Cage by 20 miles.
Republikinz wunt 2 defund Peil Gruntz dey mus think Ameracanz is edumacated enuff cuz peeple keap votin Republikinz in.
People complain American media is spending too much time covering Charlie Sheen instead of Libya, forgetting that the media is also spending too much time covering Libya over union busting in Ohio, Wisconsin, and several other states. America doesn’t give two shits about foreign events (hello Ivory Coast, and remember Afghanistan?), so covering Libya ad nausem feels like a great way to avoid talking about the assault on Democrats happening across the country.
Asshole of the Week: The New Hampshire Republican who said—as a reason for trying to pass new legislation that makes it harder for young people to vote—that young voters are too “foolish” and “emotional” to vote the “right” way (i.e. for Republicans). This logic is no different than any dictator like Mubarak who says he has to make all the decisions for his country because the people are too “foolish” and “emotional” to see the “big” picture. Which is another way of saying he’s robbing them blind and they’re “emotional” enough to be angry about it…which also could apply to the Republican party.
Too foolish and emotional. What is going on in America. Did we not fight for the right to vote. How dare they say young people are foolish and emotional. It is because they see our government looking like assholes every day of the week.
