Episode 82–A Tale of Two Counties: Orange, CA and Marshall, AL

By | March 21, 2021

In the last part of his trilogy looking at the future, present, and now past of the culture wars, AL makes some surprising discoveries about two seemingly unrelated counties: Orange County, California (which went from famously red to blue…ish) and Marshall County, Alabama (which did the opposite) where a surprising number of Alabama state leaders are coming from. Also, he takes time out to say why Andrew Cuomo shouldn’t resign, but he’s glad that Piers Morgan did, and wondering if Trump is the Beetlejuice of Presidents, where you’re almost afraid to say his name or he might show up.

Awesome podcast. Not sure why so many poor areas are Republican. Don’t they see that if not for Democrats to come and fix things every so many years…….if we didn’t have that this country would be in real trouble.

Really, what do Republicans have that attracts poor people? Just don’t understand it.
