Episode 18–Are Republicans More Accepting of Sex Scandals than Democrats?

By | April 28, 2016

The second part of our trilogy looks at a new record of topics: Will Bernie die before he quits? Will the media need a fainting couch when Trump becomes the nominee or keep insisting it’s not happening? How does Hillary’s good news always get spun into bad news? Will Trump pick another 80’s relic (Mr. T) as his running mate to top Cruz’s irrelevant Fiorina pick? Does anybody besides us remember Gary Hart? Is John Edwards on the side of a milk carton somewhere? If Obama had a sex scandal, would Republicans file impeachment paperwork that minute or wait until after lunch? And why are Democrats so much less tolerant and forgiving on sex scandals than Republicans? Plus, the interesting side topic of why Republicans don’t require their politicians to actually live what they preach and Dems are more tolerant in general but not towards their own elected officials.
