3D doesn’t add much to the experience of the original Jurassic Park movie, but I loved it as a kid and wanted to see it in theaters again…
What Works:…Turns out, the real draw is seeing that T-Rex wreaking havoc on the big screen nearly twenty years later. In the 90’s, nobody could craft a suspense sequence like Spielberg, and there’s still an ingenuity to watching a raptor stalk its prey in the modern world.
What Doesn’t Work: You could basically watch this movie for free just about any time you want, is it really worth it to drive to the theater and plunk down ten bucks a ticket? How much you love the movie will largely answer that question.
What I Would Have Done Differently: Not Applicable…
