I’ll keep the description short since this is really just an excuse to show a handful of vacation pictures…I mean, uhhh…write an in-depth expose of Hong Kong’s scenic beauty. Yeah, that’s it…I’ll say that I wasn’t quite as big a fan of Hong Kong as Shanghai, but there was a lot less pollution and certainly a handful of beautiful things you should see. Such as…
The Peak

The Peak is the highest point in Hong Kong, a natural beauty that is said to have mystical powers of mind-cleansing. So naturally, they built a shopping mall on top of it, complete with “New York Fries,” Pizza Hut, and Starbucks…

To get to The Peak, you have to take either a jam-packed tram that’s scary as hell or a rickety, double decker bus that does fifty mile an hour turns around cliff-side, twist-filled roads that’s really scary as hell. We did the bus on the way up, and the tram on the way down.
And if rickety transportation you can’t believe is safe is your thing, then how about some sky buckets going up to Buddha Temple…A sacred spot only accessible by sky bucket that also has, I’m not joking, a Starbucks

Once you travel twenty minutes by rickety sky buckets up mountains, you can see an enormous statue of Buddha, plus a Starbucks…

Then more plunging death to get down…

“Doesn’t Really Do It Justice, But A Partial View of the Back of The Peak” Winning picture in this batch. I LOVE THAT VIEW.
