After Alabama Liberal explains May’s absent episode (hint: he waited on a certain verdict that didn’t disappoint), he takes aim at various disinformation floating around about Trump’s trials, bogus comparisons to Bill Clinton, Mad Marjorie’s insane attack on Dr. Fauci, and how charges brought against Trump “wouldn’t be happening to a Democratic politician” (Alabamians may know that Don Siegelman can say otherwise). Then he takes a look at a surprisingly complex question: Does anything really change? Will there ever be any forward movement on major issues, or will we forever fight yesterday’s battles? Is Trump’s entire “platform” merely copy-and-paste phrases from 1930’s Nazi-sympathizing isolationists, anti-integration Dixiecrats, and old Reagan slogans? Why is it taking so long to get back to the moon? And finally, is it “artificial insanity” to program AI software to do things humans actually want to do instead of prioritizing hardware to fill crappy jobs?
